Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Evergreen Seaside Spray Foam Insulation to do. When you browse the site, send us a request or approve an estimate, you're agreeing to them, so please read them before you do.

If you don't agree with something here, please don't use the site or book work with us. You can always call us at (831) 204-4546 to ask about a term before you decide.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Seaside, CA, and we insulate, air seal and remove insulation in homes and commercial buildings in Seaside and the cities around it. The home page lists our services, and our About page tells you more about who we are.

What we describe on this site is general information about the trade. The exact work on your house is what's written in the estimate you approve, because every attic, crawl space and wall is different once we're looking at it.

Estimates and pricing

We give free on-site estimates with no obligation, because we need to see the space, the old material and the access before we can price the job fairly. Any price you see or hear before that visit is a rough guide, not a quote.

A written estimate tells you the scope, the materials and the price for the job as we found it. If we open up the work and find something we couldn't see before, like wet or contaminated insulation, damaged framing or hidden gaps, we'll stop, explain it and get your approval before any added work or cost.

An estimate stays good for the period written on it. After that, material prices and our schedule may have changed, so we may need to update it.

Scheduling, access and cancellation

We'll set a work date with you once you approve the estimate, and we'll do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays or a job running long can move a date, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area on the scheduled day, with pets secured and stored items cleared from the attic, crawl space or walls where we're working. When a job uses spray foam or other products with a re-entry time, meaning the wait before people and pets can come back inside, you agree to follow the instructions we give you for that job.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call or use the Contact page as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or turned away other work for your date, we may charge for costs we can't recover, and your estimate will say so if that applies.

Payment

The payment schedule for your job, including any deposit, is written on your estimate or invoice. Payment is due when that document says it is, and the job isn't paid in full until the final balance is received.

If a payment is late, we may pause the work until it's settled and may use the remedies California law allows a contractor to collect what's owed.

Our guarantee and warranty limits

We're licensed and fully insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the job isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it, because we'd rather fix it than leave you unhappy.

Insulation products carry their own manufacturer warranties, and those are between you and the maker. Apart from our guarantee and any warranty written into your contract, we don't promise a set drop in your power bill, a specific indoor temperature or any other result, because those depend on things outside our work, like windows, ductwork, appliances and how the house is used.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from later remodeling, roof or plumbing leaks, pests, other trades working in the space, or changes someone else makes to our work.

Limits on our liability

To the extent California law allows, Evergreen Seaside Spray Foam Insulation isn't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, like lost rent, lost use of a room or the cost of staying somewhere else, beyond what's written in your contract. Our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

The information on this website is offered as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete or current, and you shouldn't rely on it in place of an on-site look at your house.

How we settle a disagreement

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first at (831) 204-4546 or reach us through the Contact page, because most issues get fixed fastest with a conversation and a visit. We'll respond within 1 business day and work with you in good faith.

If we can't resolve it that way, we both agree to try mediation before going to court. If it still isn't settled, the case will be heard in the courts of Monterey County, California, unless the law requires somewhere else.

Which law applies

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California. Where your written contract and these terms say different things, your contract wins for that job.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Terms that were in place when you signed a contract still govern that job.

If you have a question about anything here, our Contact page is the quickest way to reach us.
